If you haven't seen this post by Jacquelin over at A Stable Beginning, check it out. This is such a great, fun idea that my kids are going to enjoy so much. How exciting to get a postcard from a different state every week! Not to mention it is one way of teaching the kids about the order in which each state joined the Union. Now I'm even thinking of adding some sort of study of each of the United States and D.C. since we'll be participating in this postcard swap. I know I've got a lot to learn as well about the history of our country. :)
Anyway, even if you're not interested, perhaps you know someone who is. Please pass on the information so we can fill each state and begin our postcard swap. :)
